Haniya Fatima: The Young Calligraphy Prodigy Inspiring the World with Her Artistry

Haniya Fatima : Calligraphy is an art that has been appreciated for centuries. It has now become a part of the life of a young girl, Haniya Fatima, from Marwah, Kishtwar. Currently pursuing a BA from GDC Women's Anantnag, Haniya has shown immense talent and passion for calligraphy.

Haniya Fatima started practicing calligraphy in 2019 when the world was facing the emergency of Covid-19 and lockdowns were implemented in most countries. While many people were finding it difficult to pass the time, Haniya decided to utilize her time to learn calligraphy. She faced lots of hardship during the lockdown period, but her determination and positive attitude did not let her give up. Instead, she continued practicing and improving her skills. Her hard work paid off as she started creating beautiful artworks with colorful backgrounds that were appreciated by many.

Haniya Fatima, is also creating resin coasters and embroidery designs. Her unique blend of modern and traditional aesthetics makes her creations suitable for various occasions and purposes.

Haniya Fatima's family played a significant role in encouraging and supporting her in this field of art. She feels grateful for their constant support and encouragement.

According to Haniya Fatima, art is a skill that applies to calligraphy, painting, poetry, music, and more. Haniya Fatima has participated in several calligraphy events and competitions, including the Shama Calligraphy sponsored by Atul Joshicalligraphy, where she achieved the third position. This inspired her to participate in more events, and she recently participated in the inter-college calligraphic competition organized by her college, GDC Women's Anantnag. To her delight, she secured the first position.
